Febuary (Ice Climbing)

The ice starts to form on everything exposed as we start to back down off the climb





After we backed down of the climb, we thought we were on the home straight back to our hut....


Ben packs up his rucksack ready for the "easy" walk back.


The weather closed in around us, and the straight forward 1hr hike turned into a nightmare! Welcome to the Scottish winter!


Negotiating through the boulderfield may have just been a mine field. We literally had to crawl through it

Cable just got up from falling over. We all managed to sink up to our waists at least once every 4 steps!


He goes down again the very next step! It took us 2 hrs to get out of this boulderfield which should've taken 30 mins!


Found the path and out of the boulderfield at last! with the guidance of mountain rescue who were doing some training nearby


Back in safety after a 9-10 hour day, Picture of Ben's face finally starting to melt

The next day with very sore limbs Team GO Practices ice axe arrests with instructor Rob


Sliding down the icy mountain face gathering speed
